looks like the wrench you would use to remove the wheel from a 4.5 inch grinder to me just a guess

It would help if you told us what part of the interior you were working on at the time.
BTW, 1600 x 1200 is hard to look at when I got my screen set to 1024 x 768

I'm just guessing, but it looks like a heater/ac support bracket.

that looks like some kind of a tool. i just pulled the console out of my 94 shadow last month and didnt see anything like that at all. kinda hard to tell though i cant tell how big it is. only thing i think it could be would be a lever for the heat a/c controls that moves the blend door or somthing like that.

It could be a brace that holds the center console to the brace that's bolted to the floor...mayby

I agree that I've not seen anything like this in an interior before abd it looks more like a tool.

this looks like a tool to me. I would guess you could remove the mirror adjusting nuts with it. It's used to hold something while giving access to a nut in the middle. It might fit the radio antenna nut or something in the steering column

doesn't come up in miller, kent-moore, rotunda, snap-on, matco, mac, grainger, or harbor-freight part # searches,
looking at it, it really does look like that it is a tool for moving around a/c blend doors as mentioned earlier

DING! DING! DING! WE HAVE A WINNER!
(Somewhat) I googled "7824223 tool" & came up with a Makita lock nut wrench. I have no idea whether or not it's for a grinder, but it's for a power tool.

i recognize it, its the same as the ones used on the grinders, the one that hold a disc, that tightens the center to the disc. my friend let me borrow it a long time ago and thats how i remember
