OK guys this site http://www.roundededge.com/cip/ShelbyZ.html gave me the itch to install the Overhead Console from an '87 Lebaron GTS to an '86 Daytona Turbo Z. I traced the console wires down the pilar across and up the passenger kick panel to right side of glove box. I removed the entire wireblock. Where are the sensors for the compass and temp located for this console to work properly? There are only 5 wires connected to the console that I followed. But I never found the sensors. Did I miss something?? What else do I need to do this install this in my Turbo Z. HELP... Walk me thru the steps, if anyone has already done this conversion to a Daytona Turbo Z...

i hope your turbo z isnt a ttop car.....
but to answer your question there is only one sensor and it is the outside temp sensor and is located behid the front bumper ....as to the compass the overhead unit is all contained.....
hope this helps if not ask away as i have one from a lebaron that i am attempting to install in my 85turboz...which leads me to why i asked if it was a ttop mine is and the overhead console doesnt not fit the roof right ....i researched this before i installed mine and a guy told me he had done the same to his ttop daytona and it fit fine but in mine theres a gap about 2inches from the console to the roof ...it looks awful ....I havent even wired it up yet....now i am buying one from a newer daytona 90 and up ....hoping it will fit better ...
hope this helped
