help installing overhead from a 90 daytona

hello
everyone i have a question i am in the process of buying av overhead console from a 90 daytona ....i am looking at the wiring diagrams and most of the wiring is pretty basic but on the 90s they use a body computer and from what i have been able to see from referenceing the 88 manual i have it seems that 90s only use the body computer for the illumination of the console ..
any one if this is correct ???at any rate it looks like ill need to install the body computer as well in order to get it to work in my 85 turbo z...
