Regular speakers...
i'd recommend playing around with your existing stuff to try and figure out where the problem is, before you gotta go buy any new stuff.
You've probably already looked, but definately check the balance/fader.
If not, try out the speakers in someone elses car, or quickly brush the speaker terminals across a AA battery and listen for a sound (if they pop in and out, then they should work)
if the speakers are good, then the problem is either in the wiring or the head unit. Run a continuity tester across the speaker lines to make sure they're wired up properly. If the wires are all good, then its got to be the head.
