I've never had any experience with aftermarket gauges, can you change the bulbs in them easily? I changed my whole dash to light up red, and I want some gauges to match. Thanks in advance.

All the gauges I've purchased have had just a little light socket in the back, exactly like the ones in your instrument cluster (except they have wires coming out of them). The kits should have little plastic hats that go over th bulb to change the color, usually red or green. I prefer green.

Speaking of those little hats what happens when the bulb burns out? Can you get new hats somewhere or can you still get the old one off after being on that hot bulb for so long?

I dunno, haven't had any burn out yet. I'd like to find a green one somewhere, couldn't find one so I currently have red on my oil pressure gauge.

Check www.summitracing.com. They should have autometer ones that fit common bulbs. I bought an assortment a few years back from them. Usually when you buy new autometer guages, they give you a red and a greeen one.
