as long as you use quality interior paint on the plastics and the seats are done right it will look pretty good

i used SEM plastic dye, it worked great on the console of my thunderbird

I have made that switch from black to tan before. I swapped out all parts from a donor car interior, including swapping entire dashes. Watch out for paint and dyes for plastic interior parts. NONE last very long, and it will chip and flake off. It doesn't matter how good the prep is or the quality of paint/dye you use. If you are a stickler for details like I am, you might want to re-think your options.
