Painting vents, grilles, etc... anyone else?

I personally think that it's rice-ish and cheesy to do it; but I guess that's because I've never seen it done well (or tastefully!)

I decided to do it to make fun of my friend who has a maroon 90 Accord and painted his interior white. Gawd his car looks aweful!

Lol I know it looks horrible... but it's more of a joke. I plan to get a nicer Caravan turbo soon... this one is more of a learning experience (218,000 miles, rotted out, interior trashed)
