Shifter, Does This Look Right?

Hey all, I posted this elsewhere but got no response.

Here I installed my shifter assembly from a 93 Daytona and I don't know why but this doesnt seem right. The shifter feel's way to high, I can live with it if its the factory height I guess....

Does anybody have a picture of their 1990 with a 5 speed?

Any thoughts?

Nope, the boot is stock, however the shift knob is from a shadow which is barely any different than a daytona if any.

I was thinking about getting a short shifter off ebay for a 95 neon, they are going for about $22. Anybody tried one of these? I can't see shelling one out for $100 + from FWP.

I would like to see a picture about like mine of somebody's 90' tona if at all possible?
