Shelby Gharger/GLHS seats will fit into an Omni easily. The only modification you have to make is to move the mounts for the rear seat latches. It's obvious when you get there...

Here's a pictures of mine:

And your center armrest doesn't looked ripped either. I'm impressed. That might something to look at reproducing or having somebody fix is those center armrests. They all get ripped at the seam.

Dave, are those the front seats you got from ebay from WI? If so I've got the back seats!!!

BTW, the car looks sweet, I remember seeing another picture of the car and the original seats looked a little wore out.

The hardest thing to find for those cars are mint center armrests. Seen some go on ebay for well over $100. Another hard thing to find is mint original gray 86 glhs style seats. It's way easier to find shelby charger seats but there usually not mint though.

When I restored the 86 glhs it was a hard decision for me to decide which interior to put in it. I had two nice 85 gray shelby charger interiors and a 83 blue shelby charger interior sitting idle in the garage. Ended up finding two mint front seats out of state and had them shipped and profesionally cleaned.
The shelby charger seats hold up way better than the omni cloth seats.

Yep! Those are the seatsa from WI. They are in great condition, and I love them in the GLHS. The stock front seats have a few rips in them, so this makes it look much nicer IMHO.

The original armrest was the harder plastic style and was cracked. The one in there not is the mush softer vinyl style. I never knew there was a difference, but I know better now. The vinyl version is much nicer and matches completely!

Hey Dave. Could you shoot a close up pic of the center armrest and post it on here to see?

I'll get a few pictures this weekend and will post them here, no problem!

BTW - Bill, I'm not ignoring your Emails, I just haven't made time to look for the information you asked about. I'll get to it, eventually. I promise!

Am I slow or what?!? Regardless, here is a picture of my current arm rest. It is made from the same vinyl as the seats.

Current Arm Rest

This picture is of the stock arm rest next to the vinyl version. The stock version is made of a crappy plastic/vinyl mixture that is obviously prone to wear and tear.

Stock Arm Rest

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Dave,
Your current one looks like one that I bought a few years ago, I can't remember from who though. It is a softer material than the stock. It should stand up a lot longer than the stock one.

My GLHT has a similar home-made armrest too - looks pretty good!
