Feasibility: Neon center console>L body

Anyone with a Neon and an L body care to take a peek and estimate the feasibility of fitting an any-gen Neon center console into an L body? Just curious. I would love to have and armrest AND storage in my GLHS.

I know a few people have mounted Neon shifters into L-bodies (Russ Jerome?), but I don't think I've ever seen an entire console swapped in. I'm sure it can be made to work if your determined enough.

I have both, and never thought to look at this due to the fact that the arm rest was enough for me in the L bodies...will get back to you with my opinion, not that it means anything....LOL...
