I don't know if this is the right spot, but what is the best way for cleaning door jambs and inside the engine bay?

It depends on how dirty they are, if they are just a little dirty I like to use meguair's quick detail, it's pretty much a wash/wax in a spray can, great stuff to bring to shows and wipe off fingerprints with, also since it's in a spray bottle it makes it easy to touch up area like the door jambs, bottom of the hood, shock towers etc..

If it's really grimy I use simple green first.

A great product for cleaning just about everything and very cheap. " Mean green" it can be had at a dollar general store. It really woks great!!!!!!! steve
