Ok I have found some lebaron gts's and gtc's and several lancer es's in the salvage yard with digital dashes, and I have a 1987 Shelby Lancer, I need to know what year I can swap fairly easy and which looks the best(coolest). Also what do I need from the donor and what do i need for the cable speedo conversion, mine has the cable and two wire hookup on the tranny. I also can get alot of interior stuff if you guys need it let me know there are like 6 salvage yards with td's non td's whatever.

I did the swap in my Pacifica, which for some reason didn't come with a digital dash. I hated it and swapped back 2 days later. The tach on that digital dash is aweful. If they'd have at least had a digital RPM readout to go with the bargraph I wouldn't have had to ditch it.

Was it the daytona style cluster? and if so mine is from an 87 lebaron and it was a direct fit and much nicer to look at and dimmer. mine works fine as far as tach and speedo, they are very quick and the other stuff also works. i think it's looks decent and plus it was cheaper than a new speedo cable.

The digital one I used has '87 Lebarron written on top of it. Dimmer or not, I didn't like it. I also couldn't get the oil pressure or fuel gauge to work properly. Both of which are showstoppers for me.

Great, so all you have left that sucks about it would be the crappy tach.. Probably just fine if your not into racing, or drive an automatic. Could run an aftermarket tach, but that's tacky.

yea im gonna race it once I rebuild it but if you don't like that tach and you don't like aftermarket tachs then that means you like the factory tach right? And if so those things are the worst, I have not found an factory dodge tach to read corretly or just not be erratic, mine is very responsive the best i've seen yet and it also depends on where you hook into for the tach I did not rely on the one behind the dash because it had issues. But yea it all comes down to prefference.

The one behind my dash was crystal clean, I was triggering my Megasquirt off of it, it had no problems. In my Shelby the Megasquirt is running off the tach lead that goes to the cluster.
