Looking into buying an aftermarket steering wheel from Pilot. From what I've read on here, in my daytona GM helped or installed a GM column in some fashion ( designed, etc.). Is this true and if so would a Wheel spacer kit for let's say a 70's gm vehicle work?

Thanks.

The steering column in my aries, which i pulled from a daytona strongly resembles the steering column that was in my 82 firebird. i'v always wanted to check, but have never had the parts handy. The column seems to have the same problem the firebird did, it was real loose and wobbly.

Try something from an 80s GM car, maybe a third gen F-body?
