I had some of those in my van when I took the headliner out. I had to break it. When I reinstalled, i didn't bother reinstalling it, and i haven't had any problems.

Food for thought.

Hi,

Look very carefully at the center of that support, and you'll notice a tiny section right in the middle that you can push all the way through it. Once it's through, it'll be as easy as pie to pull down and remove that entire fastener.

Later,
Craig

One Fast Shadow,

Just break it off and I have some new ones in my drawer (grey in color) if you need a new one.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies guys,

I just ended up using a hammer to pry it off (without breaking it)
and it snapped back in after I had the headliner fixed
