Do you have 2, 3 or more aftermarket gauges mounted in your Lancer or LeBaron GTS? Do you have interior pics? I have some obvious ideas, but I'm skeptical as to how they'd look / how driver-friendly they'd be.

If you've got pictures of your install, I'd love to see those, or just descriptions would be cool.

Thanks!

i would also greatly appreciate some pictures of where your gauges are in your h cars, right now i have an a/f gauge mounted to the right and slightly below my steering wheel and to be honest it really sucks, My boost gauge is mounted underneath my 12 button traveler and that also isnt very good because i have to take my eyes of the road just to see my gauge. i was thinking a homemade a-pillar mounting with a scrap pillar trim would be awesome, just havnt gotten around to it yet... so post your pictures of your H bodies!!! thanks guys

I'm eyeing that compartment above the ashtray, but it's such a square shape, it seems like you'd have to center two or have a weird triangle of three; also not the best place for monitoring the numbers...

I have 3 (well, only two gauges now since I removed one, but the mount still has 3 holes) in my Lancer.

I used a under dash 3 gauge panel mount like pictured in upper right of this picture:

Turned it upside down (just like it is in the picture), and bolted it to the top of the dash, right above the center vents. I Actually cut out the dash padding so the gauges wouldn't sit too high. Then I fabricated an aluminum cover to go over it, covered it in "dash pad" material, then painted to "match dash".

In this picture you can barely see the cover:

Look right above the drivers side wiper, between the cowl and hood.

You may also be able to modify one of these:

As found on http://www.rpmoutlet.com/powerpod6.htm.

I have better pics of the gauges at home. I'll see if I can remember to upload some of them.

Yeah, please do get an interior pic up! That sounds pretty cool, but not sure if I'd have the cojones to do it in my SL...something similar, though...

Thanks!

Yeah, I wouldn't do it to an SL.

While it was kinda "scary" cutting up the dash, it turned out well.

Pics of my gauge setup in the Lancer. Note that when I took these pictures (years ago), I hadn't made the cover yet. But they show how I mounted it all.

Hmmm...now, see I like that better than the lower spot, and it's right next to the tach - good place for a boost gauge.

Thanks for all the ideas and pics!

I used a Lotek dual pillar pod for a Daytona in my Shelby Lancer and my brother's Lebaron GTS. Doesn't fit perfect, but the gauges are easy to read and it only required two holes be drilled into the pillar.

Here's my set up. Used some aluminum and bend it around the gauges.

Enjoy.
