Is there an existing thread of people's engine bay pics? I am interested in some ideas from others for mine.

Thanks,

I built the car back around 2002. It's a 60-1 turbo and it fits pretty nice in there. It now has an equal length header with the turbo in the exact same spot. GLHNSLHT2... I can't believe you saw that video that was years ago, O and I used octane booster. The ac is or was ice cold I just made a bracket that moved it forward. The car now has a 8v super 60 equivalent with a built auto. I's my daily driver and the maserati got big valves little more port and a holset he351cw and big plenum intake ect... and is going into this.

Any more images on the masi setup? Where you somehow using a stock manifold with the turbo up top like that?

is the new equal length manifold a RWD setup only? I ask because it looks like the rampage is RWD with the skinnies up front? Who made the equal length manny?

Sorry for my many questions. I'm a masi freak, have 2 I'm slowly working on. My current project is a 2.5 masi for my 87 ShelbyZ. Some pics of my project: 2.5 Masi buildup

Neat to know. I was more wondering about what you did for the A/C lines going to the GM-style "flat" compressor? Our lines won't mate to it and the lines for the TC are non-existent. :(

Sorry man just took a look at the parts. Its the regular spirit compressor hoses and all never even disconnected them. I took the mounting bracket the one that also holds the alternator and cut the top half off. You also have to cut a grove for the timing belt to clear. Then I made a bracket to move the compressor forward and bolted it to the stock mounting location on the botom of the compressor. Then made a bracket that goes from the head to the pulley side of the compressor and the other side mounts to the intake manifold. I wish I had some pictures to show you but It's all apart now.

no need. that harness is compleat and the car runs. its a 86 lancer that i put a 89 mini harness in. before I re wrap the harness and make it look all nice and neat i wanted to make sure the car ran. I dropped the harness in looking like that hit the starter button and she came right to life and ran like a td should.

Oh no! Your wiring harness exploded all over the engine bay and threw spaghetti everywhere!
thats funny sh-- there :)
