Welcome to the site SRT8ride. Is your Iroc R/T a Dodge or a Chrysler?

To keep on topic; the average age is going up. 2,498/99 = 25.2323

Cliff, has had sooooo many R/T's, it's just a matter of time before he gets another one. He's just between R/T's at the moment. ;)

48 here. I guess having an 8V 2.2 powerplant doesn't count.
But the car is:
'91 Spirit R/T 8V
Heart of a '89 Daytona, some must die so others may live on.

I just bought the 91 Spirit R/T from moparmadness that he had listed in the for sale section a week ago......actually I traded for my 87 Omni with a TII drivetrain. I love it so far. If my WS6 sells on ebay, I will have some cash to play with. I am planning an 11 second street car build up for it. The body is so nice, I really want to do something with the car.

Oh, and I am 26.

This is the car

Red 91 R/T - I am 56

I am 56 and owner of a red 91 Sprit R/T, 2nd owner. Original Colorado car. Previous cars were a 69 GTX, 440/4spd/Dana car followed by a 69 340 6-pak Dart Swinger. The Spirit is the most fun of all of these and faster to boot.

Young again !

My wife refers to my Spirit R/T as my Jeckle & Hyde car. Once behind the wheel of the R/T, I am addicted to turbo spooling. Any excuse will do, Mustang, Honda, Porche, you name it. If they show any inclination for showing off their car's performace, I am ready willing and able to show them how a real car should run. At 56, I don't get into many adrenaline rushing situations, except in my R/T. With only 69,000 miles on the car, I keep it garaged a lot to keep the milage down. It is hard to do though, since it is the best ride I have ever had!

age 30, Black 92 Daytona Iroc R/T

Formerly built by Rick & Ron, Lightened flywheel came apart and damaged the crank and shredded the tranny. Billet Steel longrod motor on its way from forward motion. A rebuilt tranny with a LSD graces the car now with a stock crank and flywheel replaced in the motor formally built by Rick and Ron... Stock crank and flywheel were from forward motion. These stock applications slowed her down a bit, but she still screams and Forward Motion's motor is shipped and on its way!!!

Am I too late to be counted?

Are there any other R/T's in Arizona???

39. I have a red 92 with leather interior that was saved from Pick N Pull in San Diego. Bought for $900 before it hit the j-yard. It is getting rebuilt. Had a cracked block. Head was still good. Harold

Man I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. But I just got my RT two days ago and I turn 17 on Tues. Bought and payed for all by my lonesome too... I've already owned 4 cars and not even 17 yet. I'll say I have a troublesome future ahead of me. lol

Hey all, 37 here.
...And owned for 8 years. Canadian '93 Chrysler Daytona with Shelby R/T rear decal and fender medallions. Any other Shelby R/T badged cars here or anyone know of any? I know that the Euro cars had these. This was a Chrysler leased vehicle previous to my buying it. My brother spotted it on the lot, in his hometown, as he knew I was on the lookout for one. Calls me up and says "I think I found an IROC R/T for you... but it has Shelby R/T badges instead of the IROC"... I was like huh??? So I say, can you go back and take a close look to make sure it has the TIII. Needless to say, I was the new owner a couple days later. Black w/dark grey leather interior, sunroof, infinity deck and no rear wiper.
BTW, I love seeing people of all ages into these cars, I think it's great!!!
Sorry for the long rant...
-Dan
