Hello everyone, it has been a long time (circa maybe 2007) since ive posted on here but like the title says im bringing this car back to life. Some of you might remeber it and if you do let me know. So my reson for this post is to ask your opinion on my turbo, i need to replace it and the old one was a t3/t4 TO4E. Im looking at putting basically a gt28 with and exhaust a/r of .48 to maybe make it spool before 3k rpm like the old one used to. So do you think it would work or is it just to small for our 3.0l engines. I know im vauge on details but im just asking? Thanks in advance guys
Ok guys so I've decided to go with a T3 To4B with the .48 turbine housing. The wheel is pretty much the same size as the old turbo I had on it but just with a smaller housing. So I guess I'll see what happens, it is just a street car mostly. Haha
hows that .48 holding up?? i tried a .48 once on my 3.0 turbo and felt like it was way to undersized for the engine. hell my .63 spools pretty damn fast... just curious!
