1986 laser turbo fuel in oil

Have a 86 laser with a 89 2.5 t2 set up, bought the car like this but noticed I have gas mixing in the oil. I have checked the injectors, I can't seem to find what's causing this issue.

how did you check? pressure gauge leak down? is it slow to start?

are there any codes set? maybe the 02 or temp sensor is no good and is making it rich.

how tuned is it? is the computer chipped?

I know the car has been tuned and dyno. But really have no info. The guy,who built the car passed away. I pulled the fuel rail and cycled the key to watch for a leaky injector. I know it has a 3 bar computer and a after market cam. But that's all I really know. Haven't been able to drive it all summer its dumping too much fuel

Re: 1986 laser turbo fuel in oil

Does it have an adjustable fuel regulator? Are you able to test the fuel pressure at idle and partial throttle? Does it have a wideband O2 meter and if so can you tell us what it showing? It sounds like there are a few things changed from stock so we need to know what ever you can tell us what you have found. I am no expert on these cars but others are and if you can pass along what you have? What computer /LM is installed?

Re: 1986 laser turbo fuel in oil

Fuel in the oil is caused by anything that will create an extremely rich running condition from Ignition, Fuel, Engine Mechanical, Electrical Issues.

As stated in the Post Above...
1)Are there any Fault Codes stored in memory?
2)Are there any other drivabilty issues other than fuel in the oil?

When would you like to start the diagnostics?
