Throttle Body solution for sonic cleaner

hey all,
quick question. I going to clean a 52mm TB in a sonic cleaner before i put it on my tona. I m going to use the Simple Green Pro HD Heavy Duty cleaner. Its made for grease and grime. Was going to do a 50/50 mix of distilled and this solution. Says its safe on all metal surfaces. Just wondering if any of you have concerns about what I'm using. thanks

Re: Throttle Body solution for sonic cleaner

Having a look at the SDS for the product:

https://cdn.simplegreen.com/download...GreenProHD.pdf

Reactivity: Non-reactive.
Chemical Stability: Stable under normal conditions 70oF (21oC) and 14.7 psig (760 mmHg).
Possibility of Hazardous Reactions: None known.
Conditions to Avoid: Excessive heat or cold.
Incompatible Materials: Do not mix with oxidizers, acids, bathroom cleaners, or disinfecting agents

Since it doesn't state any in-incompatibilities with Aluminium, Magnesium, Iron/Steel or Plastics (all present/possibly present in a Throttle body) I'd say it's perfectly fine to use

Re: Throttle Body solution for sonic cleaner

it's what we use as a mix at the machine shop where I work. Though I would probably disassemble it before cleaning.

Simple Green Aircraft Cleaner is even "safer" to use if you so choose.
