Has any one made the swap from 15 to 14" wheels the smaller wheels hit the brake caliper is there any 14" wheel cars that have calipers that direct bolt on to front? 89 Lebaron GTC.

Re: installing 14" wheels on 15" car

What wheels are you trying to put on the car? I know the Caravan/Voyager from 86-90 have the larger 60mm KelseyHayes calipers and brackets and they fit factory 14" wheels just fine. IIRC correctly those are steel wheels with plastic accent caps.

I am just not familiar with any of the 14" wheels that might have come on a Sundance or Acclaim, I thought that at least for the Sundance they would have been 15". I suspect that the aluminum wheels are thicker than the steel counterparts and that is why they are found on the 14" equipped Caravans and Voyagers.
