86 C/S Crab wheels should be 15x6.5 If I recall correctly

Re: Tires

my blue car below had 215 60 15 on all four corners
that helped it feel more like a car , less roller skate

the passenger front just SLIGHTLY touched the front edge where the nose piece wraps around to pin to the wheel lip

BUT it never toughed or rubbed hard enough to hurt the paint on that spot
and the 87 behind it .. same thing , same wheels and tires before I swapped them (painted) to the blue car

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also...
Wheels common to 1980's & 90's FWD Mopars

TIRE SIZING
1)P = Passenger Car
2)First Three Numbers = Tread Width IE: 205 = 205 MM Across
3)Second Two Numbers = Aspect Ratio IE: 55 = Sidewall Height is 55% of the Tread Width.
4)Letters = Speed Rating (All Tires Have a Speed Rating.
My car came with "V" rated tires and I have been running "H" rated "All Season" tires of the same size for years.
(The "R" in the Speed Rating Stands for Radial)
https://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire...read-life.page
5)Last Two Numbers = Wheel Diameter IE: 16 = 16" Wheel Diameter

Hard to find the stock size these days without paying a premium to get them shipped in (in my location at least)

Plus wider than stock tires on 6.5" wide crabs look amazing for the non-performance oriented folk.

Re: Tires

Try Walmart, round and black, bought tires from them for other vehicles and equipment. Just google your size. Speed rating comes with tires this size.

Re: Tires

grey shelby z -this is a 205 60 15 0n a 6 1/2 crab wheel

the tires were a little rounder in profile in the sidewalls than most but these specifically were mud n snows

there's a lot of gap above the tire in the back as there was no interior in the car at that time

blue car 215 60 15 all corners and like I said before the passenger front tire JUST touched the front corner of the opening when turning but in three years , never hard enough to rub the paint off

and if you note the gap above each tire -the front is larger
car had turbo z springs in the back and shelby z struts n springs from the grey car

shelby z's sit 1 inch higher than turbo z's

the passenger wheel SHOULD be slightly further forwards in the opening on ALL of these cars
they're supposed to be that way
