Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

The part # on your flasher is not a good part # anywhere, since it was "Made In Germany" I assume it is probably a foreign replacement.
According to my research and going by the numbers located next to each terminal your flasher is the same flasher as mine with a different part #.

According to the Sylvania (Novita) website which explains what the numbers mean, there is an aftermarket replacement, that would be a Novita EP26.
(I learned something new)

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

I can look for you on Monday.

What is the part # on yours or is it a Base or Premium (w/electronic cluster) BCM?

1990 Chrysler Le Baron 3.0 Cabriolet Specifications
VINnr: 1C3BJ4531LG473146

Body Controller, (Base) Stamped 4503112

however, i swapped from analog to digital a few years ago and to do that a premium BCM was required.
i can not find a number on my BCM, but i believe there was a number range 4020 in it orso.
is this helpfull?

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

The part # for a 90 Premium BCM is 4503020.

Unfortunately I cannot find any online, I did find one listing for a refurbished BCM but it is Extremely pricey.

https://www.autoecmstore.com/products/4503020

My suggestion would be to open a thread in the "Parts Wanted" section.

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

well, the flasher won't work.
the turnlights are working but not the hazardlights.
the relay is also shorter then the accisting one.
i took the the relay from the donor cat, which is exactly the same blue one, but that does not work also.
now i start thinking about a loose wiring orso.
fuses are okay.
i keep looking and posting back to you.

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

There are two power feeds into the Dual Function (Hazard/Cancellation) Switch.

BK/PK wire from fuse #6
BK/WT wire from fuse #28.

The solid BK wire is ground.

Here is the Dual Function Switch test for the Hazards.

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

The pinout for the Hazard/Cancellation switch is at the top right.

Circuits L05 and L09 are Power in from Fuses 5 and 28.

Circuit Z01 is Ground.

Re: 85 Turbo Z Turn Signals and Brake Lights Do Not Work

okay, in that case, i have ground aswell as power on the switch on the cavitys.
i replaced the switch just to be sure with a spareone from the donor car, a working switch.
also tried 3 different relays.
fuse are okay
