FS: VNT G25 Turbo, Fuel Pump, misc

VNT G25 turbo + misc lines and fittings
External fuel pump
misc exhaust pieces

I cleaned out my attic this past weekend and found some old parts. The parts were on my turbo neon and have been sitting for years since I sold it in 2011.

Asking $100+shipping, but make any offer. I'd like someone to use it.

Also have:
Cobra Sub Amp, 600W
US Amps 50wx2
Eclipse TI 1000W 12" sub with ported box
2011 Toyota Tacoma Gray stock Drivers Rear Fender Flare, long bed

I'll add photos and details if there's any interest.

Thanks,
Brian

What were you using to control the nozzle?

Re: FS: VNT G25 Turbo, Fuel Pump, misc

Wastegate actuator, I believe. Keep in mind I did most of this work 10+ years ago on my 1998 Neon. I ended up changing to a T3 turbo because the VNT spun up so fast and was tricky to control. I remember playing with bleeds and orifices in the vacuum lines for the actuator to smooth it out.

Re: FS: VNT G25 Turbo, Fuel Pump, misc

If you look at the pictures you can see the wastegate with the two connection points. You can also see the vacuum lines with a tee. These were some of the lines hooked up to control the nozzle. I believe I had a check valve and an orifice bleed in there somewhere...

:O That's just awesome! Manually controlled VNT. Did it seem that if the wastegate opening and swingvalve puck were enlarged it might be easier to control the overspool/overboost?

What?

Some experimenting with an external gate could probably get boost control under control. Still, the vnt isn't quite the ideal size on the compressor

I think on the Neon the main problem was the computer. I had lots of fun trying to tune things to get the fuel and timing right. It did tend to surge and jerk some times probably due to the insanely quick spool up of the turbo. Maybe opening things up would have helped, but switching to a T3 was cheap and easy.
