Thank you for taking the time to read this, hopefully this will save both yourself and the staff some time with classified rule enforcement.
There are areas in place for each classified.
- Parts For Sale
- Parts Wanted
- Cars For Sale ~ Subforums for: Cars Wanted and Cars For Sale By Others
- Misc. Non TD related ~ Required Level 2 or Level 3 status to take part in.
Items are better to get attention when placed in their proper area. This will give your car/parts are better chance at selling. By posting a car or part you are wanting to find you too will get a better response by those wants placed into their proper area.
Price's are a forum guideline. Most of us have had something we wanted to sale and we all know what we will sell it for and what we wont, so no excuse here. If you don't know the going rate's on items, eBay and searching past classifieds are a great tool for you to get a general idea of what they will sell for. For Sale ads will be deleted if price is not put in the ad... This can be avoided by simply typing in a price. If you are parting out a car then a part list with prices must be posted. And NO "OBO" is not a price, even if your willing to take $100 for a running csx-t.
If you are posting an eBay auction then there is no need to post a price or list of parts if there is more then one auction.
Items/Cars For Sale...
TurboDodge.com does not hold any responsibility for vehicle's or parts sold. You are buying a used part, buy at your own risk. If an issue occurs with a part contact the seller and try to work it out. If the parties can not come to an agreement feel free to PM the staff, we will try to assist in the matter to keep it civil and add an outside view on the matter.
If you do not have the item ready to be sold, for example; It's not with you ready to ship once paid for. Please, do not list it. You will only be asking for issue's due to this.
Do not make several threads just to post your items one by one. The threads will be deleted, and a PM will be sent with a link to this thread.
Early in 2007 we put in force iTrader. It is a feedback software that gives members the freedom to rate a seller/buyer/trader with negative, positive, and neutral levels. If the seller/buyer/trader does not have any points dont hold it against them, its a new program. TurboDodge.com has a vendor/user feedback section that has been in place sense the restart up of TD.com, search for the members name to see if there is any feedback for him/her before the iTrader upgrade. eBay also has a rating system and if requested members normally give there eBay user id to members to see their rating there as well.
Picture's are not a forum requirement. But it will be a question you see from buyer's. Posting picture's is free for all member's. Level 1 member's will need a host for the picture's(photobucket, dropshot, etc.). Level 2 and Level 3 member's a simple upload from your tower using the "manage attachments" button in the "advanced post" area is free for you to use!
Car part out's...
If you are parting out a car, please make sure you have the car first to avoid problem with people. Last year there was a big problem with it, so to avoid another one just be sure the car is in your possession first. Thanks!
Do not bump up threads that are excessively old. Please check and see when the seller's last activity was by viewing his profile. Instead, you can send the seller a private message. This saves the staff a tremendous amount of time from having to close old threads that have been bumped up. We entrust the user's good judgement to not post in old threads. Please keep this in mind and refrain from bumping old threads.
If you feel there is something that can be added to this please feel free to PM the Classified's Area Moderator's, Forum Super Moderator, or Forum Admin.
