A heartfelt thanks to both of you for your kind assistance. Between the two resources, it will make the conversion to maxi fuses a lot easier.

2.2 L Body Fusable Links

I want to convert the fusable links in my 84 Rampage 2.2L to fused. Don't need to do the whole PDC thing. Engine has been stripped of ECU and anti-pollution "stuff". Aftermarket ignition system is installed. Asked a "friend" who has the FSM and he said you don't need to fuse them, just cut the links and bypass them. Don't particularly agree with his advice.

Could someone please help me identify what each fusable link is for and what would be the proper amperage for fuses? If there is a specific page in the FSM for this, please let me know and I can get a copy of it.

Painless has 3 circuit fuse boxes that I would like to use to keep them neat and organized.
