That's what I hear from most turbo guys. You want the best free flowing exhaust, as it helps with efficiency.

Now autozone has 80.00 struts for the Shelby car, or 40.00 struts for the non turbo car. Are there really that big of a difference between the 2 to warrant the extra 80.00??

Drone isn't a concern. We have a few very loud cars already. In nj there is no state inspection for cars before 1996.
