The new & small starter gave me a finger between the braided turbo oil return line.
Jack shaft got rusty sitting for years, but machinist friend polished it out and saved it.

There's the finger space between starter and braided line.

The heat shield was only attached at the top screw of the solenoid, it would have rattled like that, so I drilled a few holes got a wood shim and 3 zip ties.
