History
Have been looking for a GLH for a while. This one was right around the corner from my Dads house. The prior owners had removed the N/A engine and dropped in a Turbo II and A-555 tranny from an 87 Shelby Z. Also rewired it to 88 electronics. Another project that needs some more goods to finish off. Looking for that nice 350/400 formula for a nice street machine.
1985 Dodge Omni (Red)

Modifications

Drivetrain
Stock 87 Turbo II with stock rotating assembly, stock head and 2pc intake, stock injectors and fuel system. Runs a Stage 3 SMEC from FWD Performance. Airbox was removed with some Frankenstein upper piping, BOV is spliced into the lower intercooler hose. The 2pc intake is stock with no porting. The prior owner had the 52mm TB on it, but didn't open up the mouth to accept it, so put a OEM unit back on it until I can open it up. Running the factor intercooler. The prior owner has inserted a vacuum block mounted on the firewall. The OEM Garrett Turbo. May pull it this winter and give it the beans. I've been trying to do as much research I can to get a good combo together, and avoid the mistakes made on the Shelby Z (which really just needs me to get back to basics, with fuel-air-spark balanced).
Interior
Has some pod gauges, a flat bottom Grant steering wheel, some gauge pods. Some transplanted seats from a Horizon. Shadow shifter with cables doing the work.
Exterior
Also fairly stock. Prior owner wired in a 3rd brake light and some LED signals. I've got a Turbo Hood waiting to go in. A lady was nice enough to crease my rear driver side door...the nice and straight door...figures. Need to do some body work and finish off with some paint.
Audio
Jeep Grand Cherokee OEM CD/Tape deck with some nice speakers.
Lighting
Stock, with the exception of Horizon rear taillights.
Exhaust
Stock exhaust manifold. Full 3-inch exhaust with Magnaflow muffler - high flow CAT, with a 2.5" swing valve.
Suspension
KYB struts...with Eibach springs on the front...rears are still stock (they are in the box and need to be put on). Rear disc breaks from the 87 Shelby Z, and the larger sway bar up front. Working on getting the fronts switched over to KH 60mm with the correct Master Cylinder, and with FWD SS braided flex line.
Wheel and Tire
Running with 6.5" crab wheels from a Turbo/Shelby Z with 195/55's.

I really like that car bro. You still got this thing? I am a huge fan of this car.

I got an 86 Plymouth Horizon that me and my dad are gonna modify as a GLH almost like this but a few differences. He and I are gonna paint the stripe that they did on the Shelby Charger in silver, rims from a Dodge Neon SXT (7 spoke), the black side skirts that they added with "Horizon" written in red, the black trim and a lot more mods.

Yep, still have it. It's current up on jack stands getting the 60mm front brakes and the correct Master Cylinder to match that with the rear disc setup from a 87 Shelby Z. Your car is very sharp...I think I've seen it on some YouTube videos...correct? My GLH has the Horizon rear lights as the guy before me liked them better than the stock Dodge GLH ones...I'd have to agree. Sorry for the delay in response...just saw your comment.
