Well...since I can't get the other two done, why not get another. I've been looking for a 86/87 Black Shelby Charger for a long time. I took a ride in a 86 with the DC over the valve cover intercooler about 20 years ago. Couldn't make the money stretch enough to get that one...but found this one, and lost it by $16 on e-bay. Unfortunately for the last guy, the deal fell through so I pounced. The car is a stock non-runner that needs some love!! The plan is to take it down to raw steel and build it back up to glory.
1987 Dodge Charger (Black)
Non-running Turbo I, according to the last owner...it had good compression and spun freely. Will get pulled and set aside...need to decide a 89 Common block Turbo II with the same 350/400 formula...or perhaps a SRT4 transplant with some tunable engine management.
Also stock, other than an old school cell phone hook-up and alarm system. Now the seats and carpet are out...say hello to some extensive rust in the two front wheel wells. Behind the inner cross bar where the front seats bolt to...fairly solid. So going to need to brush up on my welding and hopefully find some solid floor boards.
Bone stock other than some stickers here and there
A pioneer deck...not sure from there.
Bones stock for now.
Wheel and Tire
Will polish up the current or put in the GLH's OEM wheels...maybe some aftermarket ones.
