Details to follow. The previous owner did a mountain of work to this...so I've invested in an amazingly solid car.

That's a great find.
And I'm envious of the amount of garage space you have to work with.

Thanks...yes, feel very lucky I found it and very close to home. It's got an Ostrich EEPROM emulator...so looking forward to getting educated on the tuning end of things. Reading the books is a lot different than getting your hands into it. I'm still getting used to having this much space...my last house had a one car, with a temp garage on the back of it...so the cars were outside and had to rent friends and storage space to store them in the winter. It was a bit of a compromise as the house was dated and needed updating, but wife was happy it has character:). The prior owner collected Packard's and 70's Cadillacs...so our cars have lots of space. Another very lucky find...and dream come true. Now just need to get that two-post lift. Some day would like to get a Shelby numbered car...but have promised my wife this is it for a while!! Yours looks amazing. There was one for sale in Hemmings, and that was 40 minutes away...but just a little out of the budget right now. This one came up for sale the next week...so had to go for it.

That car looks like it has lived a spoiled life, and will continue to do so. It looks great.

The prior owner blew it apart and did some nice work repainting it and building up the engine. Ever since I took a ride in 84 turbo Z owned by a friends mom...knew I was going to get one some day...hell yeah! That same friend - who I just reconnected with - grabbed himself an 85 Shelby Charger he's converting over to intercooled setup.
