Just bought a 1986 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible this the other day, and it needs a new top installed. The guy I bought it from included a top, but it doesn't have any instructions. I've searched through the forum, and didn't see anything about a LeBaron-Convertible specific manual.
So I was...
So I bought an 86' Aries K with 50K miles on it. The car is mint but I pushed the engine a little too much and killed the stock 2.2L. Instead of just getting it rebuilt kit I started thinking about swapping the stock engine for the 2.2L turbo.
Who's done this so far? What were your results...

I have access to a 555 including all the shift linkage and other required stuff to drop into my 86 Laser. The guy's had this stuff for what sounds like a long time and seems motivated to get rid of it. He knows he can list it online but doesn't want the hassle.
He's going to ask me what I'll...
Trying to figure out the best way to get an intercooler back into my GLHS. I switched out the a525 for an a413 automatic and paddle shifters. The problem is, the automatic is quite a bit larger than the 5 speed, which pretty well blocks the bottom IO on the stock intercooler. I've...
I realize most modders are only interested in '87+ T-II modules and, if I'm not mistaken, those are the only LM styles that work with MoparCHEM, but since my Laser is an older model, I'm interested in the T-I modules and how to mod them. I've started dumping ROMs from '85 and '86 LMs. One Manual...

I have a 1986 Shelby Charger turbo I recently got which had been sitting for a couple years. After hooking up all the vacuum lines correctly(?), it'll start up and run perfect for a few minutes. After it warms up though, the idle will stick at 2000 rpms and will refuse to rev any higher than...
I'm picking up a Dodge Omni GLHS in the next few days and I was wondering what exactly I should be looking for precautionary-wise.
The GLHS has been sitting in a garage/shed for about 7-8 years.
Obviously I'm going to replace the fluids. I'll most likely be replacing the gas tank...

I bought a 1986 daytona turbo z, and the front frenders have a C/S logo on them but the tail lights do not have any lettering on them, but the hatch does say Chrysler Daytona. This confuses me with knowing if my car really is a turbo z, or a C/S or what? The hatch does look like it has been...
