Returning from running my Turbo-1 swapped 1982 Rampage at the GRM Challenge this weekend, one thing that I came away with was that I really wanted (more realistically needed) to upgrade the brakes to stop better both for handling purposes but also safety (both on the strip and on the road). I've...

I am looking to upgrade the struts and brake calipers on my 1986 Shelby Omni. I cannot seem to find any aftermarket struts or calipers that are bolt-on upgrades? I am able to buy the stock replacements from AutoZone, but not the Shelby struts (Konis). If I want to upgrade these components, is...

I guess the title says it all. How do I correctly adjust that load sensing valve on my Caravan. I am also wondering what the effect of adding helper springs to the back to keep the rear from sagging with my kids in it. Apparently, 23 year old rear leaf springs can't handle a full tank of gas...

So today, I bought the love of my life. A 1984 Shelby Charger. It is in absolutely wonderful condition, however, the brake pedal is VERY stiff and hard to push down, and the car does not stop like it should, it takes a LOT of effort to bring her to a halt. I've got a feeling it's the brake...

Ok, so both of the front brakes lock up after pushing the pedal(Which is really hard) WE get good pressure to the calipers, but then the pressure doesn't release. we can release the pressure through the bleeder. What im told, there is a brass or copper washer in between the rubber hose to the...

so today i was getting off the interstate and heard a pop in the right front, stopped in a parking lot and found that the rubber line on the right front brake had blown. No biggy, i got that replaced, but when i went to bleed the brakes i found that all but one was stuck, so used a torch and...

Just need to know if the brake hoses ( caliper to frame) on an L-body are interchangeable from side to side other than the bracket that holds it to the strut. I need my charger up and running for Monday and I have a bad hose on passenger side. The local parts place only has the drivers side ( of...

I've got a 88 Daytona Pacifica (turbo, a555) and I need to replace the calipers on it. I'd like to upgrade the brakes so I think now would be a good time to do it. My question is what would be the best upgrade I can do? I've done some research and I'm still not sure on what would be the best...

I installed NHT red-powder-coated calipers on the front of my 2001 about 18 months ago. Time to do the rears so I order the same product for the rear. They look identical to OEM so no problem, I thought. Go to hook up the brake lines and the banjo bolt and brake hose have a SMALLER thread than...
