    So anywhere from 1 minute to 5 minutes after I start my car my check engine light comes on and my idle goes up to around 2k and stays there. Also, if I get on it and hit positive (5+ psi) boost, it will start leaning out really bad. Help is very appreciated.

    my car will not go above 2000 rpms and the check engine light is on now. first how do u check the codes on a 89 daytona. when the car hit 2000 it starts to shake bad will not go any higher unless i have no boost on the engine (like -5 on my boost gauge) any ideas what this might be ??? thanks
