Welcome to the Turbo Dodge.com!!
Try this thread, it seems to have been talked about quite a bit here:

The 3.0 liter that came in the daytona's in the late 80's and early 90's. Just an fyi you don't have a v4 its an inline 4. A v4 wouldn't be balance very well and i don't think there was ever a v4 produced by any manufactor.

im pretty sure volvo made one, but not for long.

L bodies have had 3.0s swapped in em before, but its WAY more common to see a t2 engine in the bay. direct swap, and makes better hp/tq and economy than the v6s.
as mentioned above,
the mitsubishi 3.0 v6 was offered in other (non L-body) Chrysler cars & vans for many years,
commonly paired to a 3- or 4- speed auto trans, but rarely with a 5-speed manual

several enthusiasts have swapped this v6 into an L-body (omni/horizon + charger/turismo + rampage/scamp) but it is a tight fit and you must upgrade the electronics to 88+

personally I like the 3.0 engine, and think a 3.0/5-spd 90 Omni would be the shizz..
but realistically it would be A LOT easier to put a turbo 2.2/2.5 in yur Scampage.
