I have a 1986 Shelby GLHS #396 for sale,
Asking price is $$4500 or offer
Greetings.... The time has come to part with my 86 GLHS #396. I am the original owner and it is a rust free California car. This was my daily driver and unmodified until about 10 years ago when the shift linkage failed (imagine that). It has been tucked away since then gathering dust. I acquired the repair kit with metal rod ends. etc, and started the repair but too many projects and not enough time so here it goes. As stated, the shift linkage failed and I got as far as removing the right side drive shaft for access. I then grew weary of lying about on the cold concrete and that's as far as I got. The car is a rust free California car that ran well when parked although after sitting so long, it doesn't want to start. It has the original Centurian wheels that could stand refinishing but with no major blemishes, fitted with new tires (you can still see the painted codes on the treads). Koni shocks with adjusting knobs. Interior is nice having been re-trimmed with a close match to the original fabric. The headliner is loose (imagine that as well) and the carpet has a small wear hole just in front of the drivers seat. The body shows signs of being a daily driver with a few door dings but no dents. The paint, well best I can say is it is all there. Don't know if it would cut and buff so probably a repaint is in order. The engine ran well and has never seen anything but Mobil 1 oil. Fog lights and covers are there but I think one lens is cracked. Over all, this would be a simple fix up and return it to daily driver or an easy restoration. Car is in the Sacramento, California area. Not sure why the Canadian area shows up although I had an aunt and uncle in Saskatchewan
