I have a 1986 Shelby Omni GLHS for sale, in Shreveport LA, USA.

Mileage: 83000 miles
Engine Size: 2.2

Asking price is $2000

#219 of 500

Performance Mods:
804 Injectors
FWD Performance Logic Module Tune for up to 15psi
AEM Wideband O2
Big Front Mount Intercooler Kit
Manual Boost Controller
One Step Colder Spark Plugs
Side Exit Exhaust - behind passenger wheel - loud
Comes with brand new Walbaro 255 Fuel Pump kit - not installed

Weight Reduction:
No Carpet (was moldy and falling apart)
No Back Seats (looked like they were attacked by a cougar)
No HVAC (AC didn't work, fan didn't work, HVAC controls were broken, dash is hallow)
No Audio (didn't work)
Few Interior Panels left (90% of them were cracked or broken)
No Fog lights (broken)
No Charcoal Canister (broken)

The Good:
Dash still has signed matching number plate
Turbo is healthy
Doesn't leak oil, coolant, or transmission fluid
Shifts great
Timing Belt looks great
New Battery
New Waterpump
New Alternator
New Powersteering Pump
New Ignition Coil
New Dizzy Cap
New Spark Plug Wires
New Coolant Temp Sensor(s)
New Thermostat
New Logic Module
New Rear Brake Line
New Brake Pads and Shoes
New Driver door handle
New Power Module
New Coolant Bleed Plug
New Speed Sensor
Always used synthetic oil - changed regularly (1000-1500 miles)
Fresh Coolant
Fresh Powersteering fluid
Wiring harness repair in several areas, soldered and reloomed properly including new injector clips and bad terminal replacement

The Bad:
Rusty "patina" - Paint is in bad shape (frame is fine), floor boards could use some love.
Cracked windshield
Power steering leaks - probably a hose
Gas gauge doesn't work - Bought a fuel pump for it, have not put it in yet
Speedo cable broke recently - Bought a new cable, have not put it in yet
Alternator, A/C bracket cut to make Intercooler piping fit

This car would need a lot of love to be restored, but it makes a great weekend track warrior. It has kept up with stock auto C6 corvettes in a straight line. Perfect track toy.

Hi. Second post on the turbo dodge forum.

Check in every couple of months. Looking to expand collection into Shelby Dodge Cars. Normally buy 1 owner, 100% original creampuffs German and American Muscle, but wondering if this would be a good resto-mod candidate as a fun, unique street car.

What is ownership history ? Is it numbers matching ? Damage history ? Records ?

Thanks !
