I have a 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby TII 5 Speed A555 for sale, in Ontario - Region A.

Asking price is $To be announced as soon as I can access

Originally on this forum and purchased from Kentucky, she's been mechanically made near perfect. Original southern body and runs superb. Anyone following my build knows that this car was going to be given to my son back in Canada but my father can't drive any longer and gave my son his car. Soooo, she'll be listed here in the next week once I've got an idea what to value it at and have a fair list of what's been completed. Will also provide the new in cylinder pressures with the post. Have not ran anything other than factory boost levels and am about to go out to do it's first full synthetic oil change. Car is white with grey interior. Definitely NOT a rusty northern car but cosmetically has some small dings etc. Thought it best to leave the body as is for the most part and make it super reliable. Will also include an Autocheck report with it for amusement. I have NOT located the factory broadcast sheet but do have the Original build report from FCA included in this thread. Located an hour NNE of Nashville for those local.

To quote some of what I sent to others interested, and to save some time which is unfortunately at a premium lately:

"Likely looking for around $5,250 give or take. I'll know more after I access the build time etc. I won't be dickering on this car, it'll go to the right home that appreciates it exactly as it sits. It just had it's first full synthetic oil change. It's had 3 changes on straight SAE30 since built, just to make sure the rings seated in correctly."

Yes I'm picky...actually OCD on the mechanicals. Body is all original with stripe removed and added back a few letters on the passenger door that had faded off with time. I'm still juggling other commitments to try and find time to put together all the receipts due to life "happening".

Thanks for asking.

Final update soon...

I've sorted most all the receipts from all vendor sources, paid labor, etc and am already at a total of $5,829.19 into this car.

Mechanically I'm thorough. Building this to make it mechanically as perfect as possible for my son back in Canada had caused me to turn a blind eye to costs while the build was in progress. Well, my labor of love may be someones gain soon.

However, I am about to go repeat those famous last words to my wife...honey you were right. 6k is surely in this car all told.

This is going to hurt! LOL

Re: 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby TII 5 Speed A555 - 94,971 miles

94,971 miles today and motor rebuild was done meticulously at 94,058 with it's final change to full synthetic at 94,971.

I still have to locate the factory broadcast, but it's southern car and shouldn't be hard to find when I find time.

This was my car in late high school, college. Not this exact one, but same color/interior combo. Good luck with the sale. It's a bit out of my range, but I hope it goes to a good home.

Thanks, it really is a nice car. I'd keep it but too many other projects and the need it was built for is now not a need. My wife says get it wrapped in Sublime green to match her Daytona...too funny.

It is. Just finished reinstalling vacuum lines as per another post due to squirrels. It's got anothe 50 miles on it since posted and was just re-tagged yesterday. Just started a new job here.
