Hi guys
I presently have an Omni glh with the the super 60 computer and wiring etc...
My motor is worn out. did a leak down test an had above 30% blow by. the question is as follows; I have a rebuild short block from a 2.5 turbo, Does the swap affect the computer in anyway and will it be drivable. Should I do it or stay away and stick with the 2.2

Stick with 2.2L

Super 60 have no o2 feedback and will not know about the increased displacement.
If you want to use the 2.5L, best to get a new computer.

had a S60 then went 2.5, so i gave cindy a call.

Use the 2.5 and get a stage 5 cal from fwd, you will still save money over the rebuild and you will gain fuel milage and power over the 2.2

Thaks guy's for answering. It seems pretty straight forward.
I was also told that a 2.5 has to much low end torque to put in an omni and that I wouldn't be able to get everything out of it and it would only be frustrating!!(solo racing and some lapping sessions), since when is too much frustrating!!?? (lol)
Anyways what do you guys think

let me know how it feels im going to be putting a 2.5 in my charger with a ported top end with bigger valves and a t3 t4 turbo to maby get this thing to rev higher for the l body if not its a common block so i can change crank and pistons and be happy with the came top end

im gonna try it since the motor i have is already rebuilt and i can drop it in with no fears but if i dont like it i will just change the crank and pistons and problem solved
