Do you hear the fuel pump run when you first turn the key? You should have fuel spraying all over if you push in the schrader valve. Sounds like a fuel pump issue. Check the wiring, I'm not sure where the pump gets it's power from but maybe someone with a FSM could help. Also check your timing and HEP sensor.

just remove the fuel inlet to the rail and have your mother turn the car over make sure you have something to catch the fuel in. if you dont have fuel either run some jumpers to the fuel pump from the battery or take the battery to the fuel pump. pos side of battery to positive terminal on pump, neg to a good ground. if it kicks on then its something that isnt allowing the fuel pump to run, ie asd relay

hehe, i love jeeps. ive got a buddy with a big one, so he helped me pull it back to my house with a tow strap. then i got a ride to work so im gonna tackle it tomorrow

important note though. i dont hear the pump kick on when i turn the key to run so heres hoping that its just the ASD relay

it was the pump. i got a new one today along with a new filter and installed it and shes good as new now. i guess i should of taken that high pitched whine as a warning sign huh :rolleyes:

one of my tank strap bolts snapped on me though so ill have to pick one of them up asap.
