Just thinking about this that people been saying the 2.5 crank is good for say 300-350hp and the 2.2 being much more due to it being forged. now i figure most people anyway probably make only around the low 300hp range anyways (i thought there were people who have made close to 400 with a 2.5 but it could of been a 2.2) but how true is that and are there ways to sort of counter ill effects by improving other parts or is it just that plain and simple that a 2.5 just can't make over the limited hp rating having it being a cast crank? It usualy would only be a problem having too much torque off the line (assuming you hook really well) anyways right?
