Just wondering if the 3.0L V6 and 2.5/2.2 Flywheels were the same. I plan on converting my wifes IROC to 5sp and dont have any 3.0L flywheels but have plenty of 2.5 flywheels.

Well am i in luck or shit out of luck.

as long as it is a 8 bolt flywheel it will work

old TDs did have a 6 bolt flywheel

ok i took a 3.3 flex plate and it lined up perfect with a 2.5 crank then i took the same flex plate and it lined up with a 3.0 crank, so i think they are all the same

Don't mean to thread hijack, but it's been bugging me for awhile. Anybody know if 3.0L's have a 215mm flywheel or a 230mm like the turbo cars?

well it was pretty hard to find out so i asked the "good stuff" people's web page and i'll be darned it they didn't have that dimension listed as 232mm
