I want to put a 3 inch downpipe on my 89 daytona shelby. It's a 2.2l and has the 2.5" swingvalve. My question is will a 3" aftermarket exhaust flange and donut gasket fit the stock swing valve?

I run a full 3", inexpensive custom made downpipe with no donut.

It runs fine and has been leak free for 10 yrs.

Yes it'll fit. The earlier Rick Diogo donut did better than the later larger ones but it will fit
