When I did my original T2K-CAR (VA license plate) a local transmission shop and I built an A413 that would almost give you whiplash on WOT shifts. I remember using a V6 kickdown band and we may have used a V6 High/Reverse clutch drum and possibly a V6 forward clutch drum. I modified the kickdown servo by eliminating the soft apply spring (replaced it with a stack of washers).

Some of the aftermarket suppliers have made thinner friction and steel clutch discs allowing the total to be increased. I raised the base line pressure by two turns on the adjusting screw. End result, with the optional 175/70-14 tires, on a 1986 LeBaron convertible it would shift 1-2 at 56 mph WOT and 2-3 at 79 mph WOT. Unfortunately where I had the powertrain after the car was totaled, water got into the transaxle and it is pretty much junk now. I have a junkyard sourced 1991 Shadow 2.5L turbo one in the replaement car now.
