so i've got a 5/6/7th injector set up on my car.

here's a list of the mods

89 daytona Shelby
2.5L 'TII' (T3 turbo, A555....)
2.5L short block and smec
2.5" mandrel bent cat-back exhaust w/ magnaflow muffler,
steel braded coolent/oil lines,
ford 5L oil filter,
2 stage boost controll (12/24psi) <==== trying to get that high, i'll be happy w/ 20-22psi
5/6/7/8th injecters,
4.7v zener diode,
15psi pressure sensor switch
Turbo XS type H BOV,
Champ RN9YC plugs,
180* thermostat with 1/16th hole,
Custom made MSD heli core cables,
T1 rad
Stock IC mounted behind the air damn (below/mounted to the bumper)
'Cold Air Intake' w/ ractive filter. mounted where the battery was. home made set up
Battery mounted on pass. side
Shimmed sway bar 1/4"
Faze boost gauge, Autometer A/F gauge
Custom Vac block

mmmmm thats all i can think of at the moment.

but what my problum is that no matter if i'm running 1 injector or all 3 i'm getting mass amounts of detination at 18psi no matter how far i retard the timing. my goal is 20-22psi (24 would be better).
i've ran 18psi on this car up untill a cuple weeks ago when i move the stock IC and mounted it behind the air damn (directley behind one of the vents) and when i added the 3 extria injectors.

acuple pics so everyone gets the feel of what i'm working with.

^^^ i still got some cleaning to do

so basicley no matter what i do i cant use my high boost cuz i'll destroy my motor..... anyone got any ideas?

PS. all my plugs and nice and white.

Maybe it's cuz your intercooler is cooling the air more because it's in direct air flow and the charge is much denser then before, you prolly need more fuel?
im not sure if its more fuel he needs as he now has 7 injectors to work with, but it has to be fuel related.... are you sure those 3 extra i injectors work?
I still say your fuel pump isn't giving you enough fuel. Now get a fuel pressure gauge and make sure! :p

yeah man, they all fire.
I don't see a hi-flow fuel pump listed in your mods. If your still running the stock fuel pump, you could have 50 extra injectors and still run out of fuel at 20psi. You need more fuel flow!!! Get a 255lb/hr Walbro and hang on!

Man it's a fuel pump issue you can't run all those injectors on the stock pump.

You can run ONE for 18 psi.

Also you understand that over 14.7 psi your computer can't see any high so whatever happens your computer canot adjust for it? I wouldn't push more than 18psi on one of those.
Also I noticed that your running your pressure switch at 15 psi.

Turn it down to 13/14ish sop there isn't that second of no fuel.

A note on the diode.

Depending on the resisitance it has it makes you lose fuel. Just keep that in mind ;)

you dont have experince with this set up do you? (serious question, no sarcasum)
theres not much differnce between running 25psi on a 3bar cal and +40's (whitch i do on my T2 car) then there is with 20-22 with the cold start injectors
I do I had two cold starts and I stepped up to +40's at 19 psi I cracked a piston
because my fuel pump which was stock at the time couldn't keep up.
I'm just saying personally I wouldn't trust cold starts over 17-18 psi :)
I had a similar setup with 2 extra injectors, 804s and a Stage II computer in my CSX she took all the boost the TII could make. Just needed a can of octane boost with 93 not to knock.

I got tired of having to disasimble the entire setup every year for state inspection. So I'm redoing the setup with +40s and a calc.
i agree that its the fuel pump...

walbro's are like $100 on ebay, money well spent!
