I am trying to bleed the breaks on my 85 glh and i dont have any pressure going to the L rear.It only drips sometimes spits. i cross bled the R rear and the L front. They were ok. I also checked the pressure on the R front and its also ok. My MC apears new and has good pressure out of both ports. If the problem was my diverter wouldnt i lose pressure to the R front also? My flex hose isnt colapsed from what i can tell. any ideas?

Re: 85 glh no L rear brake

Yes thanks, I rebuilt the proportioning valve and that restored the fluid pressure. I also learned the hard way that the front calipers can be flipped and cause problems. Autozone had misboxed the drivers side so that the bleader valve was located at the bottom instead of the top. I didnt even know this was a problem until I read about it in another forums post. So after rebuilding the proportioning valve and installing the correct drivers caliper it now stops on a dime. Hopefully my next brake project will be upgrading my rear drums to disk. ~Scott
