I am getting ready to remove my engine and trans as one from my 89 CSX and would like to know where folks are hooking up the cherry picker chains? I was thinking alternator bracket mount bolt and top rear drivers side bell housing to engine. Only problem I see there is the chain possibly hitting the air cleaner housing bracket or the throttle body. I guess I could remove both.
Someone has mentioned passenger side rear Not sure where they hooked it up yet) and then where I I believe is front air cleaner housing mounting bracket. This route there would be no concern with the throttle body.
Open to all suggestions...
I do have a cherry picker with a leveler and plan to tilt it trans side low during removal.
