question to replace the front main seal do u have to take the timing belt covers to get the crankshaft pulley off ? i pulled the pulleys and the harmonic balance of but cant get the belt off the crank pulley. i loosened the tensioner up but still cant get the belt off, am i missing something here or do i have to take the whole thing apart?

the belt,covers and all has to come out! as does the crank sprocket. the seal is behind it. the belt is easiest to remove by pulling it off the tensioner first. just make sure the tensioner is fully loose then just slide it off the the tensioner pulley. then the belt can come off the crank.
