Use the one out of your old transmission. They could be the same, but just in case.
a-555 swap
I am not sure what to do with my speedo cable do i use my old one or the new one, the new one looks as if it doesn't have that long cable that runs to it.

The box under your battery is the cruise control. The speedometer sensor will work fine in your A555. The later year A555's used electronic speedometers, to get that to work in your 85 would be a wiring project. So in short: swap the speed sensor from your old tranny, it should be a direct bolt in and will work fine.
