Too late, the trans is already in! I did notice that this trans has the connector for the lock up converter. Is it possible to have this functional? What needs to be plugged into it?
I'm pretty sure you can rig it up to a switch so you can activate it whenever you want to. But I'm not sure the wiring diagrams of the lockup. if I cna find it, I'll help you.
You can hook up the lockup function by switching 12 volts to it or hooking up 12 volts and switching to ground.
The TBI tranny will work but has fewer clutches and a lower stall. I'm currently rebuilding a TBI tranny for my son's car and using V6 clutch drums. I don't think the low stall will be an issue with the Mitsu.
that's right. pull the connector from a junkyard car and add your own wiring. 3 wires...one is ground, one is power, other should be for a sensor iirc.
